Christmas 2007 at Grandma's house in Coyote Creek

We spent Christmas Day out at Coyote Creek. Santa even knows where the middle of nowhere is because he found Makadie.

Santa brought Makadie some bouncy balls!! She loves to play with bouncy balls!

She also got a baby doll. Her name is Baby. She loves to hug and snuggle her baby.
She also got a matching animal game to stick on the fridge. This helps to keep her happy and dancing (it sings!!) while Mommy is in the kitchen.
In her stocking she got some wind up bath toys and a little Elmo toy.

(Makadie is calling me I will have to finish this post later!!)

Christmas Eve 2007 w/ The Park Family

We made it to Round Valley for Christmas this year. It was so great to see everyone and to be around family. We spent Christmas Eve at Amie and Rusty's house. It was a lovely evening.

Jay's girlfriend--fiance--now wife, Christy, was there as well. It was fun to meet her and get to know her a little. She is a sweetheart and was a favorite at the festivities.

Coleman got on the piano and took turns singing and playing duets with everyone who was willing.

Christy has a beautiful voice and we all enjoyed listening to her sing as Coleman played.

*After the concert the kids put on the Nativity for us. Amie read Luke 2 while the kids acted it out. It was beautiful -- a bit chaotic -- but beautiful.

*Makadie was the angel singing glory on high, but she did not like her halo ON her head.

*A highlight of the evening is when DuckTape/DuctTape (not sure how he spells his name), their little kitty, decided he wanted a view of the Christmas tree from the inside. It was pretty funny. He was more than halfway up the tree. It was quite entertaining for a while--until he started knocking all the ornaments off.

Another fun and special part of the evening was opening gifts from Grum and Papa (Shane and Ronnie).
Each of the kids got fun jammies and underwear (onesies for the tiny guys) and a towel with their names on it. The gifts were big hits and loved by all.

We tried to snap a picture with all the kids in their new jammies. We did manage to get them all in one spot--but all looking at the camera--impossible!

Here we have Boston on Katie's lap, Makadie on DJ's lap, Nathan on Sam's lap, and Matthew. Cute kids huh!!
