Celebrating Pre-Christmas 2006 in Lakewood

We had a little family Christmas night before heading to Eagar for the Holidays. It was a special evening. We built a fire and drank hot chocolate while singing Christmas Carols. We then helped and watched Makadie open her presents that had accumulated under the tree. She got books and musical intruments from Grandma & Grandpa M. Her Aunts sent her gorgeous clothes and a fun stuffed football. She also got a few little things from Mommy and Daddy!

(It's too bad the only fireplace picture we got was when Makadie was having a blast blowing bubbles and spitting all over her face!)

It is sad that we could not capture the beauty of the Christmas tree and the lights. With and without the flash really did not do it---

I thought we might as well face the fact that she's going to be a sports fan and get her collection started. Also that football was too cute to pass up, no matter what her Grandpa M thinks :)
You'd better start teaching Makadie to say Ellie, I've got money and I'm coming to Colorado.
