GO ROCKIES!!!!

Since moving to Lakewood in April of 2006 we have become Rockies fans! We have been to about 9 games! The Rockies have won EVERY game that we have gone to. That might be one of the reasons we have become such good fans. It is great to have your team win whenever you watch them.

So the last few weeks have been amazing for us and our Rockies! In Colorado it is Rocktober right now! And we are loving all the hype.

Just in case you are out of the loop here is a bit of what has been going on!

The Rockies have won 19 of their last 20 games. Streaks are good and all, but what makes this streak so great is that the Rockies were not considered that good and were one of the lower teams in the league. But with all their wins and the right teams winning and losing we got the wildcard spot for the playoffs! And now we are 2 games away from going to the world series!

Here is a fun quote that was in the paper this morning we thought we would share with you!

"Still looking for an edge and aware that the run of the Rockies was made in solid black shirts, the homestanding Diamondbacks chose black for themselves, forcing the Rockies into road gray for Colorado's 3-2, 11-inning win in Friday night's Game 2.

When you play well enough to affect the other team's wardrobe, you have reached a special place."
