Here are some of the latest stats and milestones of little Miss Anika!
At her 6 month check up she was 14 lbs 12 oz, which is around the 25% range. She was 26 inches long, this is in the 50% range.
Her check up was great. She is a little ahead of schedule for things though. The Doc said she is doing 9 month stuff at 6 months!
She has started army crawling (SUPER FAST ARMY CRAWL), on all 4s crawling sometimes, playing peek-a-boo, mimicking movements (head bob and mouth movements), she can also say maa maa maa (she does not know what she is saying BUT she still says the sound!!). She has also started pulling herself up onto things. A few of these early milestones I would not have minded if she had NOT figured them out so soon. Especially the standing up in her crib. She has always been such a great sleeper in her crib. NOW she gets so excited to pull herself up that it is almost impossible to have her fall asleep in her crib. And I would have been ok if the crawling would have waited a little longer. I have to watch her constantly!
She is also getting her first tooth. You can kind of see it in the bottom gum line.
She is such a funny and fun girl and we love her so much. We really are enjoying her and all of the laughter she brings to our family.

That's cool that she is ahead! Zac is now 15 lbs 13 oz, but only in the 40% for his height. I like to believe he's going to be a tall kiddo. He hates his tummy, though, so we are working on that. He's definitely behind on any activity that involves being on his belly!
