Christmas Morning 2008 (at the Rhoton's)

We drove back up to Eagar on Christmas Eve. The Rhotons were out of town and graciously offered us their house to stay in for a few days. Andrea's house was a Christmas house! Every inch was festive and decorated with some Christmas item. It was beautiful and I loved waking up on Christmas morning in the Christmas house! I was like a dream! Since we had been traveling and visiting family for the last week it was nice to have a quiet Christmas morning with just our little family!

Santa had brought the gifts for the girls to my Mom's house, but he filled their stocking on the REAL Christmas Eve. When Makadie woke up we told her to go see what Santa had filled her stocking with, she doubted us. She informed us that Santa has already came and that there would be nothing in the other room! She was quite pleased and surprised to find her stocking and a few gifts from Mom and Dad!

New toothpaste and a new toothbrush that blinks to let you know how long you need to brush your teeth for!

Pink fingernail polish! Does Makadie like Pink??? Santa got that one right!

More presents! Will the presents ever end??? I think Makadie was beginning to wonder!

This was one of my Christmas gifts--spending this special day with my sweet girls and husband. I am so very blessed.

She had to have her bottle before she got excited about the other stuff--like presents and stockings!

Anika got her own toothbrush and toothpaste in her stocking too!

She went straight to work brushing her teeth!

Makadie helped Anika open her alphabet blocks that go in her Incrediblock that she got from Grandma Nada & Grandpa Wayne for her birthday! These blocks are also part of the birthday presents--but they were back ordered and came in just in time to be put under the tree!

We gave Makadie a Fisher Price Snap n' Style doll. She has a few of these and has wanted enough to play with her friends. So we have been slowly building up her collection to make that possible! This is Gabrielle!

I loved Anika's lips in this photo! She has been becoming quite animated these days!

She was fascinated by this nightlight/decoration! She was mesmerized by it numerous times. I also loved the "ooohing" she was doing in this picture too!

Makadie had a wonderful time playing with Andrea's tea set and girly things!

We had a very special and wonderful Christmas morning. It was kind of sweet to not have all the presents that Christmas morning usually brings. The few that we had was just nice!
