New Year's Eve 2008

For New Year's Eve 2008 we went with the Goodell's downtown for the Denver festivities! We took the light-rail downtown (Denver's fast track public transportation).

The kids had fun riding on the train-bus, as Makadie called it. *
I am not sure what they are ALL looking at!

We ate dinner at the Cheesecake Factory on 16th Streel Mall, but had quite a wait for our table. To kill time we had some fun at the ESPN Zone game room. Here is Makadie pretending to ride the motorcycle!

Anika was all dressed up in the fun outfit that she got from Grandma Nada for Christmas. She looked so cute that I took pictures of her in the cute yellow-Big Bird outfit! She got so many compliments and comments through-out the whole night! She was quite the cutie!

It was a fun and chilly night downtown, and we loved the lights and the fireworks and the feeling of the Holidays that was everywhere!

They let off fireworks at 9:00 and at Midnight--we chose to watch the 9:00 display.

We then rode the light-rail back to our cars and went the Goodell's house for games and the count down to Midnight!

Anika slept for a little, but Makadie and Caden stayed up and watched movies! They were troopers and had fun being able to stay up late!

It was a fun evening and we are glad that we could share it with the Goodells!
