Makadie had her 2nd birthday party on October 27th this year. She invited all of her friends to a Cinderella Birthday Party!

We first palyed in the bubbles. Roni and Coleman used an old Nursery trick--bubbles and a fan=happy kids! The kids had a blast until the floor got too slippery and they started falling.

Instead of doing Party hats this year we decided to do crowns! Each guest got to decorte their own crown. The kids had fun and were very creative.

We then decorated cookies that looked like Cinderella Castles that Grandma Nada had made for Makadie's party. The kids frosted them and put candies on them. The candy was a hit, and it was hard to keep the kids decorating and not just eating the candy! The castles all turned our really cute and sugary!

After cookies the kids headed out to our backyard! Coleman and his Dad had raked all the leaves into a big pile hoping that it would be warm enough to play in. It snowed a little in the morning, but was ok weather when leaf playing time came around! The kids and the adults had so much fun.

After lunch it was time to open presents! Makadie and the kids had fun opening all the loot that Makadie got! Thank you to all of you for the gifts that you gave her. We have thank you cards that she helped make for everyone, but due to our busy life this last little while--we have not given them out yet!

And a party would not be complete without a cake right! The Cinderella cake was a hit with Makadie--she even recognized who she was! It was a pretty dense cake and was not too tasty! But we had yummy ice cream so the cake was bearable!

Makadie recieved a retro kitchen from Grandma Nada and Grandpa Wayne! She loves her kitchen--but since Aunt Elia gave her food for her kitchen she thinks Elia gave her the kitchen! Granada (as Makadie calls Nada) was not sure how she felt about that :-) So we have been working on making the truth known to Makadie!!

It was a really fun party and we had fun having everyone in our new home--though it still had lots of work to be done at that point!

You guys sure know how to throw a party! All those little people--so cute :). A good way to break your new house in, too, right? Love "Makadie's Kitchen" :) Roni, I tried to call you the other day--did you get my message? I will try again this weekend. Always thinking about you! Hope you're doing okay. ~J

Your hair got so long! Wow, that sure takes a lot of patience.
