Day 2 started with snorkeling at the beach! It was in Poipu-- We had so much fun and LOVED snorkeling. I was scared going over the coral but it was great! We did not get any pictures of us in our snorkel gear! We did get some pictures of chickens on the beach! Did you know that chickens are EVERYWHERE in Kauai? During a hurricane years ago chicken farms were destroyed and chickens were set free. So now there are chickens all over the place. You see them and hear roosters crowing all the time. We all found in pretty comical--you don't really think chickens when you think Hawaii!
After snorkeling we got loaded up to go camping! During college VEM went on numerous campouts--you could say it was "our thing". So we all felt it was very fitting to squeeze in a camping trip together while in Hawaii! We went to Polihale Beach--it has 17 miles of uninterrupted beach! We stayed near the end and enjoyed every minute of it!

The boys were in the water as soon as they could be! They had so much fun boogie boarding and body surfing!
Karen & Zac are beach bums now! They both LOVE the water and feel right at home at the beach. It was so fun to watch Zac in the water!
It was fun using Aaron's camera! It looks great in my hands right--hint hint Coleman!!
Brady, Aaron, & Coleman waiting for that perfect wave to ride in!
Here it comes!
And here they come!
Here is one of the shots I took with Aaron's (or Brady's) camera! It was just gorgeous, around this rock is the Napali Coast--don't worry you will see more of that later!
Karen & Julie boogie boarding!
Another one of my shots! Coleman in the Sunset!!
Brady is big on romantic pictures, but hey we were in Hawaii--so we did not mind at all! This is us checking out the sunset on the water.

So since we were taking so many "couple" shots we never really knew what to do with our hands. We would see cute shots of the other couples and try them--but they never looked quite right with OUR height difference! Oh--well the sunset looks great eh!
Aaron & Julie and their romantic sunset shot! Great posers right!!?
This sunset was amazing. This shot was taken by Brady, so I cannot claim it!
This one I did take though! I thought it was pretty good!
Another one of mine! It was so much fun taking pictures! We have SO many great ones--so if you are bored you are free to stop looking!

Coleman & Roni playing beach paddle ball! It was fun and quite a workout in the sand! After we worked up a sweat though we could just jump in the ocean--lucky us!

We finished the evening with "Woof-Ums". Little pastry cups cooked over the fire and then filled with pudding, fruit, and whipped cream! They are a Varney tradition and a tasty treat!

Brady enjoying the messy goodness!
Karen--trying to stay clean!
Coleman Jack Sparrow Miller enjoying his Woof Um!
Can you guess how much of the whipped cream went up her nose?
We played the board game "Password" by the fire--this is a game that we played together a lot in college and even brought it on a few campouts. Coleman and I have tried to play the game with couples since the VEM and it never really works. When we play it seems we are the only ones enjoying the game! So it was fun to play the game again with friends that also enjoy it! It was a great one to play during the VEM reunion!!

What an incredible time!!! You guys look great - just dig a hole in the sand for Coleman and you'll be the same height!
Wow, Coleman looks really, REALLY white in those pictures. :)
You didn't mention the SKINNY DIPPING! I will never forget Coleman's white cheeks.
Yes, that sand was SO HOT! Ouch!
