So most things that we did in Hawaii we did for free or very cheap! But we decided to do one BIG thing! We took a Catamaran Cruise along the Napali Coast. The Napali Coast is one of the famous sights that Kauai is known for! See if you recognize any of the scenes! Our cruise left in the morning and only had 16 guests including us. It was very personal and very comfortable.

Coleman and Roni in the Parking lot waiting to get on the boat! Our Palm Tree shot!
Awww-the ocean wind blowing in my hair!
As we left the shore it was a bit misty and turned into rain! It was not too cold, it was actually kind of fun with the rain! And because of the rain we got to see some rainbows!
If you look you can see the double rainbow! The rainbows actually spanned the entire sky and we were able to see a full (2) rainbows--but since we were so close to them we could not get a picture of the whole rainbow!
Aaron & Julie--taking it all in!
So the sights were amazing--and here are some of the best! I hope you enjoy! We sure did!
This is a view of the beach where we camped--Polihale-- We basically went around the whole island on our trip to Kauai! The cruise took us along the coast which is not accessible on foot!

Do you see King Kong on the top of the mountain?

Yes--we are really here!!

Roni & Coleman inside the sea cave our boat floated into!
Inside the sea cave!
The sea caves we are about to go into!

So the cruise was amazing! The middle of the cruise we stopped and got out and snorkeled. Coleman and I followed a sea turtle for quite a ways. We were literally swimming with it! After we snorkeled we ate lunch and headed back towards the shore! On the way back we saw some flying fish. You thought the fish was just jumping out of the water and was going to fall right back into the water--but it just kept soaring through the air! It was a pretty spectacular sight--and one none of had seen before! We did not see dolphins--which our guide said they usually see each time they take a cruise--oh well I guess at least we saw the flying fish!

So seeing these shots can any of you think of movies that might have been filmed in Kauai? The Napali coast is pretty unique!
