Makadie woke up on October 20th 2009 and was 4! She woke up out of the terrible 3's and was 4! What a birthday present for her mom--since she is the one who gave birth anyway! Makadie wanted to wear a dress on her special day for breakfast so she did!
*
Here is a card from one of her Great-Grandmas-she has a few and they all sent her cards with stickers (so I don't remember which one this is--and I am too lazy to go find it!)
She then opened a few presents from Mom and Dad!
Ballet Shoes and Tap shoes! For her Birthday Grandma Nada and Grandpa Wayne gave her a session of dance classes and her first class was on her birthday! It has 30 min of ballet and 30 min of tap! Makadie LOVED her dance class and was quite the little dance student!
*
Later she opened some presents from Grandma Sandy and Grandpa Dennis! Makadie had been wishing on stars for a few months before her birthday for things she wanted! I shared a few of those ideas with my Mom and this little girls faith in the stars were strengthened!
She got:
It was a little chilly so Makadie put some pants on with a "shirt-dress" and we picked Daddy up to go to the park for lunch and so that Makadie could try out her big gift from Mommy and Daddy! A big girl bike! (with training wheels of course)

She got:
- A My Little Pony
- Strawberry Shortcake Doll
- A Snow White Barbie (just like her new bike)
- Snow White Dress up shoes (she had been wanting dress up shoes for years)
- And a very fun My Little Pony card!
Makadie loved all of her treasures and felt like a very loved and special girl! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!

She was SO thrilled with her gift--and it was a surprise!
She did great for her first time around the park!
This is the night before her friend party! We got sponger curlers for her hair so that it would be curly for her party! She also wanted to show me some moves from her Dance class!
Makadie wanted to have a "My Little Pony" Birthday party, so we had a little shin-dig in the backyard. To make the party more "boy" friendly we had bandannas for all! *
Here is Makadie and Mia with their VERY PINK bandannas! Doesn't Makadie look great with her curly hair!
Cutie little Anika running around with the big kiddos in her blue/green bandanna!
I did not get a picture of Makadie all dressed up with her hair curled--too busy throwing a party I guess! So here is one of the ones that shows her hair and dress!
Doing the LIMBO!!
Doing the crazy airplane dance!
Acting like oil-wells (or some more airplanes!)
And what about stick the sticker symbol on the "My Little Pony"!
And what would a "My Little Pony" party be with out a pony race!
And they're off!
At the end of all the activities the kids' names were called and they stood on the 'podium' to receive their Gold Medals! Way to go Anika!
What a great looking medalist! Good Job Teancun!
We had a little lunch to restore all the energy used during the 'rodeo' activities!
Those kids sure were hungry!
Then it was time for cake! I tried fondant this time--I wasn't too pleased with how it turned out, but I learned from it and Makadie loved it--so that's all that matters!
Makadie had a wonderful birthday party and the weather was PERFECT! Thanks to all who came and made the day such a success and so special for Makadie!
The next week Grandma Nada, Grandpa Wayne, and Aunt Elia came to visit for Makadie and Coleman's birthday! Makadie got to open some fun presents! Dress-up clothes!
Look at that boa! Thanks for the visit and the fun stuff!
We celebrated again with the left-over cake with our company! Happy Birthday Makadie--we love you sweetheart
