Fort Baranca

We stopped for a quick tour of Fort Barancas. It was pretty cool! We went inside the fort where the soldiers slept and hid out and waited for enemies to come on the water. The two pictures with the cannons are on top of the fort. The one with Makadie on Coleman's shoulders you can see the water in the background. We were in Pensacola, FL.

This picture with Grandma Dottie, Aunt Joan, Makadie, and Roni was taken to the side behind the fort. We walked up on top of it. If you look really hard you can see a cannon to the left of the flag pole.

We needed to hurry to the NAS Museum to see the IMAX shows or we would have spent more time at the Fort. There were fun places to discover under the Fort--rooms and hallways!
