Grandma Dottie and Papa Bill took us to Gulf Shores--just south of Bay Minette, Alabama. It was beautiful! It was a bit windy that day but we still had a blast. We waded in the water, it was nice--not cold like the California beaches. Coleman was impressed with the white sands, he said they looked fake. Makadie really enjoyed the water. Her favorite part was squishing her toes around in the wet sand. She also loved feeling the water on her feet. (Don't worry moms and grandmas--she was mopped down with baby waterproof sunscreen!!)
She loves to sit on Daddy's shoulders. Sometimes the rides are short though, when she grabs a hold of Daddy's hair and pulls!

You can see how windy it was, blowing grandma's hair right up!
This is one of my favorite pictures because it shows a little personality, she would lift up one of her feet when the water would wash up on them and then giggle! She's a beach gal!

Oh, I miss her so much!!! You guys too, a little. It sounds like you all had a great time at the beach. Glad you didn't run into any sharks (or dolphins)
We went on a family vacation to Gulf Shores when I was in highschool! Unfortunately we were there during a tropical storm-they were awaiting hurricane alberto. Looks like you all had a fabulous trip!
