USS Drum--Submarine

We were also able to tour the USS Drum Submarine. Makadie was still asleep, so Grandma stayed with her while Coleman and I toured the sub. It was fun too. A LOT smaller though. It basically only had one hallway with the rooms and stations on either side of the hallway. They were very creative with the space that they had. We were also able to climb up to the navigation room and peer our the periscope. We saw a tree in some field--no enemies were coming to attack. A fun piece of history.
