Coleman's parents came out in November to celebrate Makadie & Anika's birthdays. The first BIG thing of the trip was a shopping trip to Toys R Us! Makadie (and everyone else) was in awe at the TOY WONDERLAND and had a blast looking at the many fun things!
Here is Makadie and Grandma Nada getting ready to enter the Toy Super Store!
One thing Makadie really wanted was a "real guitar like Daddy's". So Grandpa Wayne had the job of helping her pick out "just the right one"! She fell in love with this pink one with jewels on it! She was adorable strumming it!

Makadie and Grandpa tried out quite a few and decided upon this brown one! It has the best sound and looks just like Daddy's!
Anika just chilling in her stroller while all the shopping was going on!

Here is a picture of the HAPPY shoppers with all the birthday loot! Thanks Grandma & Grandpa for such a fun shopping trip and such fun toys!

Anika is a bit tired after that shopping trip but had enough steam left to play with Makadie's Little People Castle set!

Makadie loves her Little People Palace and Carriage. It is a favorite in the playroom right now with all the kids that come over!
Anika loves to ride her new "band" car. It plays fun songs and has a horn and drums!
She really could be a stunt-devil!

Makadie Rockin' Out on her new guitar!

The girls are playing with their new Cinderella Aquadoodle. If you have one of these you know how great it is! You use water pens to color on the special mat. The water wets the white top layer and the bottom colored layer shows through, then once the water dries you have a fresh new mat to draw again--and NO MARKERS--NO PAINT--NO CRAYONS--NO MESS.

Due to the craziness around Makadie & Coleman's birthdays and then Halloween--we never got to have Coleman's birthday cake, so we did that with Grandma & Grandpa. Coleman wanted an Angel Food cake with fresh strawberries and fresh whipped cream!
Any guesses what Anika is staring at?

Yep--the candles! We should have saw this coming--a one year old and a glowing pretty flame! She grabbed the candle and it scared her. The candle went out as soon as she grabbed it so she was not burned very bad, it did not even leave a mark--but she was a pretty sad girl for a while.

For more partying we went bowling! Now with two kids and two carseats we do not have room in our car for extra guests, so Coleman & I rode our bikes to the bowling alley!
This was Makadie's first time bowling! She was VERY excited! We had tried to go for Coleman, Jeff, & Andy's birthday but waited for over and hour and did not get a lane that was promised to only take 20-30 minutes. She was disappointed when we did not really bowl that night.
The action shot!

The bowling alley even had bowling shoes for Makadie's little feet! These are Roni & Makadie's silly bowling feet.
After bowling, Coleman and I rode our bikes to the park where we met the rest of the gang for a picnic and a stroll around the lake! It was getting a bit chilly on our bikes and on our walk! Even though it was cold, we enjoyed the fresh air and being outside and Makadie enjoyed riding her scooter.
Anika peeking out of the carseat in the stroller. She was asleep and we were trying to keep her all warm and bundled, but she woke up and wanted to see what was going on!

We miss your parents! Every time we have guests, we put an Andes Mint on their pillow. Guess where we got that?!?
