Our fun weekend continued once Coleman's sisters joined us at the cabin!
We enjoyed hiking in the beautiful surroundings near the cabin.
The trail kept crossing over the creek, it made for some fun adventures over the water. Thankfully, but uneventfully, no one fell in the water!
Of course there had to be some rock throwing! Makadie and Aunt Annette-

How many Aunts does it take to change a little Anika?
We all had a wonderful time relaxing and hanging out at the cabin.
We went to the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park--the hotel where the book "The Shinning" by Stephen King was written and inspired. The movie with Jack Nicholson was not filmed here--but it is the hotel that the movie was made about.
We also spent some time in Estes Park doing a little shopping.

Aunt Elia and Makadie found some BIG lovable doggies in one of the shops! They did not want to leave--they even asked to go back as we were leaving town to come back to Denver to see the puppies again!
We also went into Rocky Mountain National Park with them as well--but our camera battery died so this is the only picture that we got!
